About Lydia
Lydia is a southwest Ohio native who grew up in the Revelos family. Yes, that family behind Elite’s Ice Cream & Chocolate, founded by her Greek grandfather back in 1910. Storytelling has been part of her life for as long as she can remember, starting with imaginative plays she created in her bedroom and eventually bringing them to life in her hometown of Middletown, Ohio.
Her love for acting only grew stronger through high school, where she focused on getting as much experience on stage as possible. She went on to attend Ohio University’s Honors Tutorial College, earning a unique, thesis-based BFA in Acting, Theater, and Fine Art. While at OU, she performed in a wide range of productions with an incredible troupe of fellow artists, culminating in her one-woman thesis show, I Had a Goldfish Once.
After graduating, Lydia joined the company at Ensemble Theatre Cincinnati, where she worked closely with Artistic Director D. Lynn Meyers. Not long after, she surprised her family by heading west to Los Angeles to explore her lifelong love of film. While auditioning, she worked at Christie’s Auction House in the wine department, and soon found herself diving deeper into the film world—working with organizations like Sundance Film Festival, AFI Fest, Film Independent, and Scion Film.
Still, the pull of the stage never left her. She eventually made her way to Healdsburg, California, where she found a creative home in the local theater community. Since then, Lydia has performed in numerous productions with a variety of companies, taking on a wide range of roles across Sonoma County and beyond.
